You're invited to join our growing family of members in the Patient Medical Association (also known by our abbreviation, PAMEAS).
We are a not-for-profit, nonpartisan patient advocacy organization open to any person that has an interest in our rapidly evolving healthcare system. Every day this system impacts almost every person: the healthcare reform that may change your insurance coverage, complicated choices about your own care, or the latest news about a new medical technology or new wonder drug that will change your life or that of a loved one. It is a complex and sometimes confusing world for a patient. PAMEAS was founded to improve the patient experience and to bring you the healthcare news you need to know.

- You support PAMEAS in our mission of advocating for patients, improving the patient experience, and making healthcare more cost effective and safer.
- All non-healthcare-professional members of PAMEAS are entitled to attend and observe any of our educational programs free of charge. We believe that an informed patient is an empowered patient and by attending these programs you are exposed to the same information provided healthcare professionals.
- Members will be invited to exclusive members-only events held throughout the year as well as members-only online programs.
- Adding your voice to the influence PAMEAS brings to healthcare reform in education and policy development
