The Patient Medical Association has a vision of improving healthcare delivery to be more patient centric, clinically effective, and cost efficient. Our organizational strategy is based on the pursuit of goals described in the PAMEAS Patient's Bill of Rights, which are foundational to continually improving healthcare delivery for patients.
The PAMEAS Patient's Bill of Rights states that:
- Patients have a right to be empowered to get the best care for the best price in a system that is patient-centric, innovative, and informative.
- Patients have a right to the lowest possible incidence of medical complications, preventable medical errors, and hospital acquired infections.
- Patients have a right to healthcare delivered from professionals that have received up-to-date medical education and training.
- Patients have a right to the most effective procedures, informatics, and technology available that produce the best clinical outcomes for the best price.
- Patients have a right to uncomplicated and transparent administrative procedures in the delivery of their care.
