We are one of the first of what will be many, many sites dedicated to the application of the Apple iPad device to healthcare delivery. For us (meaning the Patient Medical Association or PAMEAS), this is a first: dedicating a website to a single commercial product. However, we all feel that the iPad represents an important and historical technical development that has great potential in both making healthcare information management more effective and improving healthcare delivery for patients.

We're dedicating our time and resources to encourage continued development of the iPad and its application to healthcare delivery.

We'll bring you stories from around the world describing the iPad's potential in healthcare with examples of great applications and keep up with the new ways the iPad will be used to make healthcare delivery more efficient. We'll also use this space to highlight problems we see in current medical information management with suggestions on how the iPad can improve these situations.
